BY A STAFF REPORTER: An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit the Nicobar Islands. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake was felt in the Nicobar Islands at 5:07 a.m. on Monday. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.0 on the Richter scale.
