Death toll rises to 32 in Greek train crash

BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least 32 people were killed and 85 others injured in a head-on collision between a passenger train and a freight train in northern Greece. The accident reportedly took place near the Tempe Valley in northern Greece. At least 53 of the injured have been admitted to a hospital in the nearby town of Larissa. A spokesman for the fire service said rescue operations were still underway.
