BY A STAFF REPORTER: Before assembly election, BJP has gained strength again at Karnataka. Former Bengaluru Police Commissioner and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhaskar Rao on Wednesday joined the BJP. Bhaskar Rao, who resigned from the IPS in April last year and joined the Aam Aadmi Party, was recently appointed as the chairperson of AAP's manifesto committee. He was one of the main faces of the Aam Aadmi Party in Karnataka. After joining in BJP, Rao says, "I think I can contribute more to the BJP. It has a huge presence all over India. PM Modi's vision has inspired me to join the party. The Aam Aadmi Party is in the hands of a group, it is shameful that two of its ministers are in jail. There is no transparency in the team.''
