Mexican Soldiers Kill Five Young Men in Border City, Rights Group Alleges

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Five young men were allegedly killed by soldiers unarmed in a town on mexico's northern border on their way home in a pickup truck. The Nuevo Laredo Human Rights Committee said in a statement that he was shot while driving in the town of Nuevo Laredo, near the U.S.-Mexico border. The sixth person in the truck survived and was hospitalised with bullet injuries. Mexico's defense ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
