Five workers killed in China mine collapse

BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least five workers were killed when the roof of a mine collapsed in southwest China on Monday. Earlier last week, 16 workers lost their lives in the mine collapse. Twenty-five miners were underground when a portion of the roof of the mine in Sichuan province collapsed. The provincial emergency management department said five people were killed and three were seriously injured.
