West Bengal government form commission to probe Pegasus scandal

​By a staff reporter : West Bengal government has constituted an independent commission of inquiry to probe allegations against Pegasus soft ware. The soft ware developed by Israeli spyware firm NSO was allegedly used to spy on government officials, journalists, politicians. Retired Supreme Court judge Madan Lokur will head the committee which will also have former chief justice of Calcutta High Court justice (retired) Jyotirmay Bhattacharjee as a member.
