BY A STAFF REPORTER: A powerful tropical cyclone Freddy has hit the east coast of Madagascar. It is reported that at least one person has died due to cyclone Freddy. A 27-year-old man drowned near the port of Mahanoro, north of Mananjari, after the storm hit, the state's emergency ministry said.
