BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least 36 people have been killed in floods and landslides triggered by heavy rains in brazil's northern state of São Paulo. According to the state government, 35 people lost their lives in São Sebastiao town and one child in the neighbouring area of Ubatuba due to the heavy rains. The cities of São Sebastiao, Ubatuba, Ilhazela and Bertieoga have already canceled their carnival celebrations due to the heavy floods.
