BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least 18 bodies have been found in an abandoned truck near the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, bulgaria's interior ministry said on Friday. "According to preliminary information, the truck was carrying illegal immigrants and about 40 people were hiding in a secret place," the ministry said. The ministry said the survivors have been admitted to hospitals for treatment.
