Women over 60 will get old age allowance of Rs. 1000: Chandrima Bhattacharya

By A Staff Reporter : Minister of State for Finance Chandrima Bhattacharya announced that 1.88 crore women of the state will be included in the 'Lakshmir Bhandar' scheme.While presenting the budget, she said that old age allowance will be given to women after 60 years. 1000 old age allowance will be given directly on reaching 60 years of age. She also informed that loan schemes for financial assistance to 18 to 45 year olds. 350 crores allocated by the state in this sector.
