Chandrima Bhattacharya presented the budget in the state assembly

By A Staff Reporter : State Minister for Finance Chandrima Bhattacharya presented the budget for the financial year 2023-24 in the Assembly before the Panchayat elections.While presenting the budget, she said,''We have developed a complete government system.3 lakh 71 thousand 'Duare sarkar' camp has been organized . More than 9 crore people have benefited from it.Financial growth in Bengal is expected to increase by 8.41 percent.We are top in the country in lending to self-help groups, rural housing projects.The people of the country are disappointed in the price increase.GST return submission has reached 70 to 95 percent.The growth rate of GST revenue is 24.46 percent, which is much higher than the all India sector.Stamp duty has already been reduced.44 lakh as a resultMore small flat owners have benefited. Students have benefited from the announcement of scholarships for backward OBC students.''
