U.S. asks Russian citizens to leave the country "immediately"

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The United States has asked its citizens to leave Russia immediately due to the war in Ukraine and the risk of possible harassment and arbitrary arrest by Russian law enforcement agencies.  "The U.S. administration has asked Russian security forces to leave the country because they have arrested U.S. citizens on false charges, isolated U.S. citizens in Russia for detention and harassment, deprived them of fair and transparent treatment, and convicted them without secret trial or presenting credible evidence," the State Department said in a directive.
