CCTV footages helped Belghoria police detect a murder case and arrest the main suspect. According to informaiton made available to ANM News, Sudip Das, 38, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Basakpara in Belgharia. Police began a probe and checked the CCTV footage to find that Das was accosted by Avishek Dey alias Pappu, a known criminal of the area. They were both found to be in drunken state. Deputy Commissioner of police, Ajay Prasad mentioned that Dey was picked up and interrogated. The criminal broke down during interrogation and confessed that he had a previous grudge against Das and hence killed him. Pappu has been arrested by the police.
