State to release new guidelines on teacher transfers

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The state is likely to issue fresh guidelines on transfer of teachers on Friday, the advocate general told the court. The guidelines will be issued in accordance with the court's advice. Earlier, Justice Biswajit Basu had repeatedly expressed his displeasure over the policy of transfer of teachers in the school.
