DR. SURESH KUMAR AGARWAL GETS LIFESTYLE MEDICINE AWARD

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Director International Institute of Lifestyle Medicine in recognition of his outstanding excellence and contribution in the field of health, healing and peace through lifestyle medicine and management has been awarded with Lifetime Achievement Award in Lifestyle Medicine jointly by Hello Kolkata, Lions Club of Kolkata Magnets and Rotary Club of Calcutta Kasba in a ceremony held at Mrinal Sen Mukta Mancha, International Kolkata book fair 2023 on February 7th, 2023.

On this occasion Dr. Agarwal said that 80% of visits to the doctors account for lifestyle disorders related diseases such as Cardiovascular ailments, diabetes, digestive disorders, arthritis, thyroid related problems, kidney diseases, obesity, depression, anxiety, stress etc. are caused by wrong lifestyle. Lifestyle Medicine and Management can well control these diseases with certain modification in the lifestyle and day-to-day routine of the patients.
