DOWNING OF DRONE BY BSF TROOPS IN SECTOR AMRITSAR, PUNJAB

During night intervening 7th/8th Feb 2023, BSF troops deployed along IB in Sector Amritsar, Punjab, detected a drone intruding into Indian territory from Pakistan side in the AOR of BOP Babapir. BSF troops fired upon the rogue drone and deployed all counter-drone measures. As a result, the rogue drone, which was returning to Pak, fell down in Pakistan territory across the IB.
