BY A STAFF REPORTER: China's State Broadcasting Ministry said it would provide $6 million in financial assistance to Turkey for earthquake relief. A spokesman for the China International Development Cooperation Agency said China expressed its condolences and concerns over the loss of lives and property and was in constant touch with both Turkey and Syria.
