Ukraine's Defense Minister Reznikov replaces military intelligence chief Budanov

David Arakhmiya, leader of President Volodymyr Zelensky's parliamentary party, confirmed the news. Reznikov has been under pressure for several weeks following a corruption scandal in the Defense Ministry. "The war determines the policy of the personnel. Time and circumstances require strengthening and restructuring. This is happening now and will happen in the future. Major General Kirilo Budanov, the ministry's top intelligence officer, will be ukraine's next defense minister.
