This year's ICC Women's T20 World Cup will be held in two phases. Ten teams have been divided into two groups with each five. South Africa qualified on the basis of being the host nation. The other seven teams also achieved automatic qualification. Bangladesh and Ireland have made it to the qualifiers. In the first round, teams will participate in round-robin formation in their respective groups. Top two teams from each group will advance to the knock-out stage. The knock-out stage will have two semi-finals and the final on February 26 in Newlands, Cape Town.
