New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry has ordered the closure of several Chinese apps on an "urgent" basis. Based on a letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has initiated the process of banning and blocking 138 chinese-linked betting apps and 94 lending apps on an "urgent" basis.
