BY A STAFF REPORTER: U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has allowed the use of seized Russian money to help Ukraine. Garland made the announcement at a meeting with Ukraine's Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin in Washington. "I have approved the transfer of seized Russian assets for use in Ukraine," Garland said. He said the money would come from assets seized from Russian ruler Konstantin Malofayev after charges were framed against him in April on charges of evading sanctions.
