Jayanta Mohapatra's autobiography will be released in english

 Dr. Madhumita Chanda, Assistant Professor of Heritage Institute of technology, for getting an opportunity to translate the autobiography of the Legendary Poet Mr. Jayanta Mahapatra in English who is the first Indian poet to win a Sahitya Akademi award for English poetry. He is the author of poems such as "Indian Summer" and "Hunger", which are regarded as classics in modern Indian English literature. He was awarded a Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour in India in 2009.
The book is released in Odia as 'Bhor Motir Kanaphool'. . . .

Apart from this, she had also translated many books of famous authors under the aegis of Sahitya Akademi, one of them being 'The Sentinel God ' a Sahitya Akademi Award winning Odia short stories by Santanu Kumar Acharya.
