BY A STAFF REPORTER: The election commission has announced the dates for assembly elections in Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya. The number of women voters in all three states is very high. Of the total 13.09 lakh voters in Nagaland, 6,56,035 are women. There are 6,53,616 male voters. Similarly, in Meghalaya, out of 21.61 lakh voters, 10 lakh 92 thousand 396 are women, while 10 lakh 68 thousand 801 are males. Of the 28.13 lakh voters in Tripura, 13,98,825 are women and 14,14,576 are men. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said, "The special thing about the three electoral states is that the number of women voters who vote here is more than men. The number of women who voted in the last assembly elections was 86% in Nagaland, 87% in Meghalaya and 91% in Tripura. '
