The NIA court awarded death sentence to Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi

By A Staff Reporter: A Special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on Monday awarded the death sentence to convict Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi. He was arrested in April last year in connection with the attack on the security personnel posted at the Gorakhnath temple in Uttar Pradesh. He has been sentenced to death under Section 121 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and life imprisonment under Section 307.
