Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the 46thKolkata International Book Fair

By A Staff Reporter : 46th Kolkata International Book Fair begins.Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the inauguration of Kolkata Book Fair on Monday.The theme country of the book fair in 2023 is Spain.The Kolkata International Book Fair will continue till February 12 at Central Park in Salt Lake.The Chief Minister honored prominent literary figure Shishendu Mukhopadhyay at the book fair. 

From the opening ceremony, she said, ''Kolkata Book Fair has touched everyone's heart. No one is above criticism. I am happy to receive criticism. Learn something new everyday from criticism. This year the book fair will be overflowing with people.'' CM also said, "Books have made Bengal a meeting place for the whole world."Every year the book fair is flooded with book lovers. Keeping that in mind, the Chief Minister directed Transport Minister Snehasish Chakraborty to increase the number of buses.
