Tripura election: BJP names Papiya Datta as the party candidate from Agartal

BY A STAFF REPORTER: BJP has given a new surprise by fielding a candidate from Agartala seat for the upcoming Tripura Assembly elections. On Sunday, the BJP announced papia Dutt as its candidate from agartala seat. Biplab Deb was asked to contest from 6-Agartala seat, but he decided not to participate in the election. On the other hand, the Congress has fielded Sudip Roy Barman in this seat.
