Firing at Police barracks of Techno City police station, injured SI

By A Staff Reporter : On the eve of Republic Day, firing took place at the police barracks of Techno City police station last night.Another sub-inspector, Kaushik Ghosh, was shot in the leg by an SI's revolver.He is currently under treatment in the hospital.Kaushik said in a statement that SI Abhijit Ghosh's revolver was shot due to carelessness, hospital authorities claimed.Police are investigating whether the shooting was accidental or some other reason. The accused has been suspended.
