Ukrainian officials have been calling for months to supply modern German-made tanks to Western allies — but Berlin has so far refrained from sending them or allowing other NATO countries to do so. When asked what would happen if Poland sent its Leopard 2 tanks without German approval, Analena Baerbock said, "The question has not been asked at the moment, but if we are asked, we will not stand in the way."
