BY A STAFF REPORTER: Russia's private military contractor, Wagner, released a short letter to the White House on Saturday following Washington's announcement of new sanctions. Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigogine wrote in the letter, "Dear Mr. Kirby, can you please clarify what crime PMC Wagner committed?" Kirby has called Wagner a criminal organization that is committing widespread atrocities and human rights violations.
