Section 144 imposed during PM Modi's visit to Mumbai

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai on Thursday to lay the foundation stone of a series of projects ahead of the corporation polls. Prime Minister will also inaugurate two metro lines- 2A (Andheri to Dahisar West) and 7 (Andheri East to Dahisar). 

Meanwhile, Mumbai Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) Vishal Thakur issued the order under Section 144 of the CrPC ahead of the Prime Minister's visit. According to sources, the Prime Minister will also make a few announcements keeping in mind the upcoming BMC elections.
