Congress wins Jhalda municipality chairperson election

By A Staff Reporter : Congress forms the board in Jhalda municipality after wining Jhalda municipality chairperson election.The victory came by a margin of 7-0 votes.Sheela Chattopadhyay is elected as the Chairperson of the Municipality.She became the chairperson with the support of 6 councillors.Earlier Trinamool took over the municipality with the support of Sheela.Even after the loss, the state announced the appointment of chairman in Jhalda municipality. It was rejected by the High Court.
