Pilgrims stuck in mid sea on way back from Gangasagar, Coast Guard launches operation

By A Staff Reporter: Two ferries carrying pilgrims on way back from Gangasagar are stuck in mid sea near Kakdweep. 

Coast Guard has launched a massive rescue operation with helicopters and speedboat. 

Coast Guard sources mentioned that there are more than 500 persons stuck in the boats.
