Broadcasting distasteful films on TV channels is a crime: Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Information and Broadcasting Ministry on Monday warned TV channels against airing disturbing footage and disturbing pictures. "The horrific images of blood, dead bodies, physical abuse are against the law of the land," the ministry said in a statement. Some of the distasteful pictures can have an adverse psychological impact on children.
