BY A STAFF REPORTER: Before the panchayat elections, there was an uproar in Jalpaiguri over the hanging body of a Trinamool panchayat member. Trinamool Congress leader Seema Das's body was recovered from her house. Police said the door of the room was open when the body was recovered.
Seema Das, was reportedly a member of Sakwajhora panchayat in Banarhat. Banarhat police have already started an investigation into the incident. According to local sources, the family members found Seema Das hanging in her room in the morning.
