Like other leaders, Uk Prime Minister Rishi Sunak mentioned the war in Ukraine in his New Year's message. "The year 2023 will give us an opportunity to showcase Britain's performance on the world stage. To continue to stand by our Ukrainian friends against Putin's barbarism and to defend freedom and democracy wherever we see it under threat. There will be challenges in 2023, but the government I lead will always prioritize the priorities of Ukrainians."
