Metro rail will be operational under ganga in Howrah by 2023, says Metro rail authorities

BY A STAFF REPORTER: India’s first underwater tunnel is almost complete and is likely to be commissioned in December 2023. 

After the completion of the 2.5-Km stretch between Esplanade and Sealdah on the East-West Metro Corridor.This metro rail that will use the structure will take just 45 seconds to cross the 520-metre underwater tunnel.
