Former Kolkata CP Anuj promoted to the rank of DG

Former Kolkata police commissioner Anuj Sharma has been promoted as the Director General of police, Armed police, West Bengal.

The 1991 batch IPS officer has served in various capacities in the West Bengal and Kolkata police and is currently the head of state armed police.
