Bihar: Politics row over helicopter?



BY A STAFF REPORTER: BJP and the coalition government have been at loggerheads over sending helicopters to Bihar. The Nitish Kumar government in Bihar has approved a proposal to buy helicopters and aircraft. These aircraft and helicopters will be used for VI and VVIP movement. A proposal in this regard was prepared by the Directorate of Civil Aviation, Government of Bihar, which has been approved by the Nitish Kumar government. Meanwhile BJP leader Sushil Modi said, "Jets worth around Rs 250 crore will not be used in Bihar as there are few runways in the state, instead, it will be used to fulfil Nitish Kumar's dream of becoming prime minister in 2024, which will not be fulfilled in any way. Is Tejashwi Yadav being gifted helicopters and aircraft?"
