J&K: Encounter broke between security forces and terrorists

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Encounter between the security forces and the militants in Kashmir on Wednesday. An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Jammu district. Officials said a fierce encounter broke out between security personnel and militants on the Panjtirthi-Sidhra road around 7:30am on Wednesday. ADGP Mukesh Singh told the media about the encounter, 'We noticed unusual movement of a truck & followed it. Truck was stopped at Sidhra in Jammu where driver managed to flee. When the truck was searched terrorists hiding inside, fired on the personnel. Retaliatory firing was done.'
