Narcotics Control Bureau busted a major drug running racket in Guwahati and arrested two police officers for allegedly being a part of the conspiracy. According to NCB sources, six persons have been detained for interrogation.
Investigations carried out by NCB revealed that the drug dealers catered to students and rave parties and pushed brown sugar, heroine and other banned items. Probe also revealed that the police officers were using their private vehicle to ferry the narcotics. NCB officials claimed they are investigating more to get to the bottom of the racket.
