Know the complete guidelines of the Indian government for international air passengers



By a Staff Reporter: In the international field, the impact of Corona has increased again in several countries. In this situation the Ministry of Health, Government of India International airlines have issued several guidelines for passengers.

1. Before departure-

i) All passengers must be fully vaccinated.

2.During travel-

i) Maintain social distance and wear mask as per Corona rules.

ii) If a passenger is found to be affected by Corona during the journey, he/she should be isolated and mask should be mandatory. Also arrangements should be made to keep the rest of the passengers safe.

3. After arrival-

i) De-boarding should be done keeping distance.

ii) Thermal checkup of every passenger should be done.

iii) Any passenger showing symptoms of corona during thermal checkup should be isolated and treated immediately.

iv) Certain passengers identified by certain aviation authorities should be tested for Corona. They will be able to leave the airport after giving samples for corona testing.

v) If a passenger is found to be infected with Corona by testing the sample then the passenger's sample should be sent to INSACOG laboratory for further testing.

vi) Infected persons should be treated from isolate.

vii) Other passengers should also get tested for Corona and report any symptoms to the local health department or call the national helpline number 1075/state helpline number.

viii) If children under 12 years of age are infected with Corona, they should also be treated from isolate.
