Now it’s official. Former IPS officer Bharati Ghosh is the BJP’s outreach with the police. According to BJP officials, Ghosh will be heading a four member team comprising of Nantu Paul, Abhijit Das and Maj Ritwik Paul to coordinate with the police administration in the ensuing Panchayat elections. Incidentally Ghosh was once considered to be close chief minister Mamata Banerjee before they fell out. The TMC government accused her of corrupt practises and slapped large number of cases against her. Ghosh, claiming witch hunt, joined BJP and rose to become national spokesperson.
