The 35-year-old footballer from Rosario has made millions fall in love with the beautiful game with his magical style of gameplay. Before the 2022 edition of the FIFA World Cup, it was the only trophy that eluded Messi's sensational career. However, there is definitely another trophy that Messi is yet to win and that is the Golden Foot Award.The 'Golden Foot' has been around for 20 years now and is awarded to the best footballer in the world. A player must be above 28 years of age to win this prize. Elite players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ronaldinho have previously received the award. Robert Lewandowski won the award in 2022.
