Brazil surpasses Argentina, tops at the FIFA world rankings

By A Staff Rreporter: Winning the World Cup wasn't enough to take Argentina to the top of the FIFA world rankings, and FIFA said on Thursday that Brazil remained at number one on the list. Brazil were knocked out in the quarter-finals by Croatia but they have built up enough ranking points from results in recent years to count towards FIFA's calculations. Argentina moved up to number 2 and France to number 3.
