BY A STAFF REPORTER: BF.7, a new subvariate of the Omicron variant of corona, is behind the rise in new Covid-19 infections in China.
According to official sources, three cases of this highly transmissible COVID-19 subvariate have already been detected in India. Two cases of this new subvariant have been reported from Gujarat and one from Odisha.
