SUSPICIOUS MOVEMENT NEAR BORDER FENCE, FIRING BY BSF TROOPS

On 21st Dec' 2022 at about 01:50 , Border Security Force troops deployed at border observed some suspicious movement of smugglers on both sides of border fencing in the area falling near Village - Gatti Ajaib Singh in District - Fazilka. In a prompt action, BSF troops immediately fired towards Pakistani Smugglers ahead of the border fence. However, smugglers managed to run away taking advantage of dense fog. The whole area was cordoned and Police & concerned sister agencies were informed.















   Further, during initial search BSF troops recovered 04 Packets of contraband suspected to be heroin wrapped with yellow tape from ahead and own side of border fence near Vill - Gatti Ajaib Singh. Further, during detailed search of the area, troops recovered 21 Packets of contraband suspected to be heroin wrapped with yellow tape along with 01 PVC pipe of length 12 feet and 01 shawl from ahead of border fencing. Total recovery 25 Packets suspected to be heroin weighing approximately 25 kg, 01 PVC pipe and 01 shawl.















  BSF troops, once again were able to foil nefarious design of smugglers.
