BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least three people were killed in a stampede at leader of opposition Suvendu Adhikari's blanket distribution programme in Asansol. The incident took place at Asansol in West Burdwan on Wednesday evening. The political pressure around the incident has naturally begun. The leader of the opposition has already expressed regret over the incident. He tweeted, "When I go to the venue, it is quite satisfying to see the police arrangements. There was enough police deployment, yet this happened.' Meanwhile BJP MP Dilip Ghosh took a dig at him on the issue. MP says, "You don't just have to rely on the police, you have to make arrangements for yourself. ''
