Bihar by-election: 24 percent voting in first 4 hours in Kurhani assembly seat

By A Staff Reporter : Along with the polling for the assembly elections in Gujarat, the by-election polling is going on in Bihar. Voting for the Kurhani Assembly seat by-election is underway on Monday.Out of 3.11 lakh voters, 24 percent exercised their right to vote in the first four hours.

Polling began at 7 am amid tight security across 320 booths in the constituency and the voter turnout was 24 percent till 11 am. There is tight security across the 320 booths manned by central paramilitary forces in addition to local police. Voting will continue till 6 pm.
