BY A STAFF REPORTER: Finally Voting begins in first phase of Gujarat Assembly polls today. Voting began in 89 seats spread across 19 districts in the first phase on Thursday. The fate of a total of 788 candidates will be tested today. Meanwhile, in the first phase, the total number of voters is more than 2 crore 39 lakh. Voting is being held in 19 districts of Saurashtra, Kutch and South Gujarat in the first phase. Voting began at 8 a.m.
