Britney Spears's lawyer wishes to resign, her manager also left earlier

The court-appointed lawyer of Britney Spears has sought permission to resign from his role, as a part of the fallout from the pop star's dramatic court testimony. Samuel Ingham has represented the singer since she was placed under a conservatorship in 2008. In a public statement to the court last month, Spears alleged that Ingham discouraged her from speaking out, and that she wanted to choose her own legal team. Ingham's announcement came after Spears' manager also stepped down.
